Every verified site, coloured by forecast cloud. Drag the slider to move through time, or jump straight to the moment of totality. Click any site, on the map or in a list, for its details. Data refreshes on the server every 20 minutes.
Two rankings, two marks. A dark ring means the site is one of the best three in its slice on terrain, access and duration — that judgement never changes. The numbered badges 1 2 3 mark the three best places to be at the moment on the slider, which changes every time you drag it. A ringed site with a badge is where you want to be.
What the colours mean. Low and mid cloud decide whether you see a 5–10° sun; high cirrus dims the corona but does not hide it, so the colour uses the worse of the low and mid layers.
